QuikClot Combat Gauze was developed to aid the Tactical Trauma Care specialist in the rapid intervention of severe blood loss situations. QuikClot Combat Gauze has been in use by the Military in Iraq and Afghanistan for many years and also finds its place in Law Enforcement where the ability to stem bleeding from penetrating trauma can mean the difference between life and death.

Combat Gauze is flexible, effective and simple to apply after training. Its active ingredient, Kaolin is a naturally occurring mineral which initiates the human body's natural coagulation process thus greatly accelerating the clotting process. This product is now in a new Heat Free format.

Each pack of QuikClot Combat Gauze contains a 3 inch by 4 yard (7.5 centimetre by 3.7 meter) strip of sterile, non-adherent gauze, ready to apply to wounds that require rapid haemostasis.
